I wanted to create a backpack that would explore a different aesthetic to what we expect from ‘technical’ gear.

Process

Different accent colors were trialed, with a focus on pastel combinations for a visually balanced look.

Form explorations as well as a drawstring bag were made with a translucent nylon ripstop.

Construction involved manipulating layers of nylon, foam, lining fabrics, hardware, and bias taping.
